Dear Ayanna,

I really like what you're doing with the blog. I've read your story on this page and in the introductory paragraphs to some of your posts. I'm really sorry for the bad things that have happened to you. I congratulate you on how well you've striven to overcome. Keep it comin'!

P.S. I'd like to ask you how you set up some of the features on your blog, like the "Share This" at the bottom of posts with Facebook & Twitter buttons, and the post slideshow at the top of your homepage, etc. Can we talk or email sometime?

Thanks so much for visiting, for taking the time to write a comment, and for producing interesting and informative posts about Jazz and other music on your site.

I actually reblogged the post about pedophilia because it deals with an important topic, but I also recognize that the provocative title would seem to promote a gross generalization about men. However, it is exactly because of this that writer of this post asks us to consider the premise of a film which has been included in the post.

When reblogging on WP it immediately publishes the post. I prefer to check out the facts, add photos and other background information if warranted.

Thus, my method of addressing this quirk is to reblog a post then immediately change the status from 'Published' to 'Draft' and work on it before republishing.

Hope you drop by again to view the trailer and check out the 'My Soapbox' website.

Last, but certainly not least is a shout out for successfully raising two daughters as a single father. I am raising my son as a single mother with the support of my village (mother and sister), be that as it may, it is a difficult but rewarding job and I commend you and all others like us who are doing a phenomenal job.

Be well. ~ Ayanna

You produce a stunningly comprehensive blog on important topics. I am so pleased to have found my way to it. I gave you a "bump" for the Shorty Award.

I got an email notification about a post regarding "all males are pedophiles," but found no such post. I am VERY interested in this, on a personal level. I raised two daughters as a single dad, rather successfully, I believe. I can assure you not all males are so inclined. The main thing I tried to teach my girls was self-respect. I figured that if they valued themselves highly, they would be unlikely to let anyone else demean or degrade them.

This idea is like all other forms of prejudice, insidious and destructive.

Hello. I am writing on behalf of Mr. Daniel Friedmann. I am sure you have readers who wrestle with the apparent conflicts between the words of The Bible and the findings of science (typically portrayed as creation versus evolution). If so, you will be interested in Mr. Friedmann’s new book: The Genesis One Code. This ground-breaking book helps reconcile the timelines of Biblical history and the timelines of scientific history – discovering that religion and science are indeed compatible. Thank you for your time and consideration.
