Sex tourism is a crime against humanity; it irrevocably harms girls, boys and women, and should not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Most people are aware of the horrendous problem with sex tourism in Asia. An organization named ECPAT which is the acronym for ‘End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes’ International is trying to make a difference for the children caught up in this horrendous trade.
Equally disheartening is the fact that sexual tourists and abusers are constantly in search of fresh victims, and to that end East Africa has become the new port of destination for individuals seeking to sexually exploit children, women and men.
Kunal Dutta wrote an informative article for “The Independent” newspaper, which I highly recommend in addition to viewing the video above.
Mzungus are raping our children with impunity and it is allowed and encouraged because of poverty and hunger. I urge readers to highlight this issue by reposting this video.
The full length report can be viewed on CNN International.

It’s frightening how people can destabilize lands then amidst the created poverty sleep with the children and news cycles do not treat this as newsworthy.
They say that a story “Dog bites man” is not worth writing on, but “Man bites dog” is a headline. Why isn’t “Man rapes child” a headline? Is it a “Dog bites man” story?
I hope for a stronger Africa that this sort of crime will not go unpunished. Organize!
