Cast Out | The Tuskegee Experiment

From the womb to the tomb.
From Eden ’till now.
From mother, now rendered in mythic proportions
As a cruel, dark, mistress, abandoner of her children.
Africa, seat of human life, proving ground for matricide,
AIDS the perfect weapon for massive death;
Harbinger of the vagaries of shortsightedness.

Millenniums have passed,
Yet, the pain of rejection by the
Original mom; still haunts these men whose
Children became rulers of European nations.
They continue their time-honored practice
To erase, debase or eradicate her progeny
His kin.

How shameful, how insane?
How devilish, how germane?

To this issue called the greatest of world plagues,
That in the guise of pure altruism,
Clean doctors would dirty their hands
By injecting a populace with the antidote
Not to their sickness, but as a way to cleanse the
Earth of this man’s own mind dis’ease,
Wherein white supremacist would rule as kings.

WHO could aid in the invention of something so alien?
An insidious killer spread by man’s basic nature,
Where upon in a process of creation,
Victims assassinate themselves.

I weep and remember,
The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment.
Routinely wince as people label
Hitler as an aberration.
While today’s dictators implement and propagate,
Final solutions yet remain in power
For economic considerations.

White moves “Black Ops”,
Who take out for “our” good and in “our” name,
Less malignant emperors; and in their wake
Leave civil war and roguery
To rape a populace
For whom regime change was the dream.

How short the reigns of these potentates.
Sons to mythic Icarus,
Who in disregard of history or advice,
Plummet to their demise and we along with them.
Carried in their wake we are doomed to repeat,
For we forsook to remember or chose to forget.

The Africans, the American Indians,
the Jews, now the Muslims;
Their name is legion for they are Everyman;
‘Cept him, twisted by rage, pain and rejection
Has lost all sense of self and connection….to humanity
Makes of each a rallying target
And a war cry tradition or Tea Partyism.

He lost himself in a reflection of narcissism,
Proclaims his immortality through the virtue of selfishism;
Humanity takes this dark ride with him,
In search of messianic visions,
that we all hope will heal the division
Before the end heralds true apocalyptic visions
of our ultimate destruction.
